‍2022 Tasting Team World Cup

‍Our 2022 planning for the Tasting Team World Cup events continues with a number of lead-up events. We continue to invite everyone in the Savantes Network to express their interest in getting involved.  

We invite expressions of interest in participation, without commitment, in the following:

• Iberian Tasting Team Championship in Portugal – teams of 3 from Portugal, Spain, North Africa
• 2nd World Tasting Team Championship in Portugal – open to teams of 3 from any country
• Organising Tasting Team Championships in producing countries
• Organising Tasting Team Championships in non-producing countries

2021 Tasting Programmes in Australia

‍We are thrilled to announce that we will be running a two day Extra Virgin Olive Oil Savantes Tasting programme in Victoria, Australia as well as a new table olive programme called Profitable Gourmet Table Olive Production.

The programmes, planned for December (subject to Victorian Government rules), will enable participants to expand their tasting knowledge, skills and experience. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in the Savantes Review Skill Test and to become Associate Members or Members of the Savantes Register.

We are currently taking expressions of interest in attending; those who register for a place will then be given the opportunity to take up that place once the venue and dates are confirmed.
